I am so afraid Lord…
“Lord, I am so afraid I will not be able to handle this ministry. I am afraid I will be overwhelmed with the size of the ministry you have entrusted me with. Some in my position would feel overconfident and proud, but I see it as a huge responsibility to represent you and to be an example to these kids. “
The Royal Ranger’s ministry in Brazil will easily reach three thousand this year and in every event lives are being transformed. We have seen kids leave drugs just after four weeks of being in the program, improvement in behavior, healing and even parents coming to church amazed by their kid’s transformation.
The best of all: Salvation is a common occurrence in our meetings. Thank you Lord.
“Lord, give me strength, wisdom and financial support to carry this amazing task”.
What a chance to impact the lives of our children. We just trained forty new leaders to Evangelize and Mentor children, adolescents and youth.
The training was all the way south in Brazil at the AG church with pastor Jaime Lopes.
(yes, that is me on the floor)
This is Ana, she is 8 years old and suffers from stomach pain and prolonged headaches. Her entire family, including her 3 siblings, have digestive problems, so her mother is at the hospital every week. The day we visited her she was bed ridden for several hours due to an intense migraine. We prayed for her and about 15 minutes she was playing and smiling.
We always come across people and kids with lack of medication or treatment.
I am glad God can heal the little ones.
When people ask why we wake up so early to set up a camp for the boys and girls, I point to this image. The mountains in south Brazil are awesome, who wouldn’t miss such a view and not want to spend time in the nature God created?
As leader you need to keep the cheer and excitement for the children and teens.
We need to be always ready, alert and be a good example for them.
Here is a trail on the mountains of south Brazil and me teaching them a new yell.
Yesterday I had the opportunity to share about Royal Rangers at “Comunidade Vida Agape” Church, South Brazil.
The leaders were eager to learn about the program. I had with me the City’s Royal Rangers leadership, also in training.
It is easy to share about it because my heart gets overwhelmed with joy with the possibility of people investing in the lives of young people.
In my own words: “We need to invest in the lives of children because they will carry the gospel to the next generation.”
Every farmer knows that to have a harvest they need to sow early in time, no seeds, no trees.
It is great to see men working together for the kingdom of God.
Men that will invest time and money to be an example to the young generation so they can become men and women of character and come to have fellowship with God, their Savior.
Here are few men from South Brazil with Dr. Dalbello in a Camp for Royal Rangers.
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good…” Psalm 100:4, 5a
Happy Thanksgiving from the Dalbellos in Brazil
I did arrive in Brazil few months ago, but not until this last week I was able to settle permanently for the next four years.
It took a long time to find an apartment. They have a bunch of available apartments, but each one has something that doesn’t fit for us. Either too small or too old or on a neighborhood not recommended.
So we are now slowly buying furniture to avoid paying too much.
All the sellers close by know us already as we went to the same store at least five times. In one store the lady gives us hugs and treat us like old friends. In another one young man opened up his heart and shared his fall and his attempt to reconcile with God. (we are good listeners)(well, we both have a degree in Counseling…)
The people from this city (Criciuma, SC) (Santa Catarina, not South Carolina) are very friendly. In minutes a stranger will be sharing his daughter’s marital problems or will tell their life long dreams, etc…
So, we are officially here.
We arrived in Brazil 30 day ago, praise the Lord!
It took a while but we are here. Now the process of getting to know our ways, getting a car, a home, etc…
Soon I will posting more details, so far it has been a little limited to move around. Getting to adjust. I speak portuguese but the culture did change a bit and prices a lot… Also, we got a lot of rain.
Thank you for all my supporters, we are looking for a great harvest.
In my devotional this morning I read in Mathews 12 what Jesus said about sacrifice:
v5 “Or haven’t you read in the Law that the priests on Sabbath duty in the temple desecrate the Sabbath and yet are innocent? 6 I tell you that something greater than the temple is here. 7 If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’you would not have condemned the innocent. 8 For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”
Here is Hosea 6:6
“For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.”
Just a reminder I have a newsletter ready, take a look at the tab above called “newsletter”. Wow, what a coincidence, a newsletter in a folder called “newsletter”, why I didn’t think of it before… (just a little humor to start my day)
Diplomats represent their country to another nation, Missionaries represent Christ to nations around the world.
Here I am representing Brazil where I will be going to represent Christ and also represent USA. Confusing…
Intimacy with Jesus leads one to feel what He feels, and at this moment I my heat is severely broken for the Street Children of Brazil. They are abandoned, abused and in despair. I know Jesus loves them wholeheartedly and cries for their condition; therefore my hearth just can’t handle such compelling love from our Lord, that is why every time I share about them I cry, because He cries.
Keep me in your prayers so I can get my budget in order to go to Brazil asap.
Help me to hug those kids our Lord loves so much.
Visiting my University in Orlando, Florida Christian University
These two men inspired me to study there when in 1999 we met and share testimonies and cried and prayed together at Dr. Portigliatti’s office. Doctors but men of God first.

Looking Forward to get to Brazil to reach the lost
Dalbello - Reaching the Unreached
This picture was taken at the General Council in Orlando. My heart goes to the thousands of Street Children, lost and abused on the streets of São Paulo.
I have a dream, to build a Safe House for them.
Just let me go. Send me!
A place to meet people we haven’t seen for a long time.
This year the convention for the Georgia District of the Assemblies of God was in Griffin and it was great to see friends after a long time on the mission field.
It doesn’t look that long, but when you see friends with gray hair or no hair at all, you realized five years have passed…
In less than a year I will be back on the field and another five years will pass, kids will become young men, teens will be married, another president will be in power…
One hope remains:
…the grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of the Lord endures forever.

Hi friends, one of my children’s book is available on iTunes, teaches them about choices of friendship.
**Help me to promote it please**
In English, Spanish and Portuguese
Some of you know I write books, but one thing I love to write are stories for children.
The first was written and inspired by my daughters, now I have several books on the go, and soon they will be available on iTunes for iPads.
here is a Ranger Kid reading and playing with the story “Uga-Uga, the brave boy” He was helping me to Beta-Test it. (clean up bugs in nerd talk)
Great to see so many men investing in the lives of boys to see them mature into strong Christian men.
This was a meeting in Jackson Ga.
It was great to see so many friends.
